Authenticated command injection via OpenVPN download action
Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2024
Command injection in DrayTek Vigor3900 firmware 1.5.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. The mainfunction.cgi handler dispatches the download_ovpn action into a command-execution path without adequately neutralizing attacker-controlled input. Access requires a valid management session from an adjacent network; successful exploitation permits arbitrary command execution on the router.
