Stored XSS via unvalidated filename in onclick
Published Nov 13, 2024 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Stored XSS in TOPqw Webportal 1.35.287.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through an uploaded filename. The QWKalkulation upload workflow inserts an unvalidated filename into the FiletoDelete onclick handler, where a quote can terminate its string and inject script. Execution occurs when a user deletes the maliciously named file, so authenticated upload access and victim interaction are required.
