Arbitrary code execution via DLL search-order hijacking
Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
DLL hijacking in Vooki 5.2.9 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by placing a crafted library beside Vooki.exe. On startup, Vooki.exe searches its own directory for a required DLL and loads an attacker-supplied file without validating its origin. Exploitation requires the ability to place that file beside the executable, and the payload runs with the privileges of the account that launches Vooki.
