CVE-2024-45837

Unauthorized SFTP file access via hard-coded key

Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 22, 2024

Hard-coded cryptographic keys in Aiphone IX and IXG systems allow attackers on an adjacent network to read and alter files over SFTP. A shared key embedded in affected firmware and support software authenticates SFTP sessions without a device-specific secret. No product account is required, but adjacent-network access is required; successful login permits unauthorized file retrieval and modification.
