CVE-2024-45811Public exploit

Server file disclosure via raw import query

Published Sep 17, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024

Information disclosure in affected Vite releases allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files from a reachable development server. The transform middleware handled raw import requests without calling ensureServingAccess, so ?import&raw routed an outside-root @fs path around server.fs.deny. Exploitation requires development-server reachability and, under the published assessment, user interaction; disclosed files are readable but not writable.
