Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped widget parameters
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Jewel Theme Master Addons for Elementor 2.0.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. The image-hover-effects and tabs widgets render Elementor control values into HTML without context-appropriate output escaping after inadequate sanitization. Contributor-level permission is required to store the payload, which executes when any user opens the affected page and can act within that user's browser session.
