Authenticated profile disclosure via missing ownership checks
Published Sep 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Authorization bypass in MantisBT before 2.26.4 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' private system profiles. The account profile handlers accept an attacker-controlled profile identifier and fetch its row without first verifying that the profile belongs to the current account. Any registered user can disclose another user's platform, operating system, OS version, and profile description.
