CVE-2024-45784Network attack vector

Sensitive configuration disclosure via missing log masking

Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Information disclosure in Apache Airflow before 2.10.3 allows remote attackers with task-log access to read sensitive configuration values. Airflow initialization did not register sensitive configuration entries with SecretsMasker, so values printed by DAG code remained in task-log output. A DAG author must log a configured secret, and anyone able to read those logs can recover credentials or keys exposed there.
