CVE-2024-45760Network attack vector

Authenticated privilege escalation via unauthorized HTTP GET actions

Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Dec 9, 2024

Improper access control in Dell OpenManage Server Administrator 11.0.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to perform elevated actions. The web interface accepts an HTTP GET request that reaches an elevated action without the required authorization check, although Dell has not disclosed the endpoint or code path. A low-privilege account is required, and the documented consequence is limited to unauthorized state-changing action rather than data disclosure or service interruption.
