Authenticated file disclosure via add-on path traversal
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 27, 2024
Path traversal in EBX Add-ons in TIBCO EBX 5.9.25 and earlier and 6.1.3 HF2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read files. An affected add-on resolves attacker-controlled path components outside its intended directory, but TIBCO has not identified the handler or parameter. Low-privileged network access is required, and the documented impact is limited to disclosure of system configuration and other sensitive files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
