KV Store disruption via maintenance-mode CSRF

CSRF in Splunk Web allows remote authenticated users to disrupt KV Store in affected Splunk Enterprise and Cloud Platform releases. A crafted GET request naming KV Store maintenance mode is processed as a state change without verifying that the user's browser intentionally initiated it. Exploitation requires a low-privileged account outside the admin and power roles and enabled Splunk Web; the resulting maintenance state reduces KV Store availability.
