Local SMTP credential disclosure via cleartext storage

Cleartext storage in SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server NG 1.3 and earlier allows local users to read SMTP credentials from a settings file. The application writes SMTP credentials into its settings file without encryption, leaving the stored values readable. A low-privileged local account is required, and exposure is limited to the configured SMTP credentials.
