Path traversal in SolarWinds Web Help Desk 12.8.3 HF3 and earlier allows remote attackers to read local files on Linux systems. SolarWinds has not disclosed the affected endpoint or the pathname-handling error that permits the local file read. Exposure requires Linux, non-default development/test mode, and user interaction; the reported consequence is limited to file confidentiality.
