CVE-2024-45682Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized OpenConnect path

Published Sep 17, 2024 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Command injection in Millbeck Communications Proroute H685t-W 3.2.334 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. The OpenConnect client page passes an attacker-controlled URL path segment to a shell command without neutralizing command-substitution syntax and executes it when the page is saved. Any account authenticated to the web interface can obtain full control of the router, including reading or modifying data and interrupting service.
