User impersonation via lingering browser sessions

Session expiration failure in IBM Sterling Connect:Direct Web Services 6.1.0, 6.2.0, and 6.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate users. The web session-management path leaves an authenticated session valid when its browser closes instead of invalidating the server-side session. IBM does not disclose how one authenticated user acquires another user's lingering session, but successful reuse grants that user's application authority.
