Stored script execution via unsanitized widget attributes
Published Jun 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Codexpert CoDesigner 4.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through widget attributes. Shop Slider, Tabs Classic, and Image Comparison accept user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and render them without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes in the browser of any user who opens the injected page.
