CVE-2024-45624Network attack vector

Unauthorized table-row disclosure via stale query-cache authorization

Published Sep 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Information disclosure in Pgpool-II 3.2.0 through 4.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to read unauthorized table rows via query cache. The query cache reuses rows after REVOKE or across SET ROLE and SET SESSION_AUTHORIZATION changes without revalidating table privileges or row-security policy. Exploitation requires query caching to be enabled and a database session that can populate or access stale cached results, exposing only rows returned by the mismatched authorization context.
