Cross-site scripting in the CKEditor 5 clipboard package 40.0.0 through 43.1.0 allows attackers to execute JavaScript through crafted editor content. CKSource has not published the faulty clipboard operation or how crafted content bypasses its handling. Exploitation requires a specific user action, the Block Toolbar plugin, and either HTML Embed or General HTML Support configured to permit unsafe markup.
