Stored XSS via unescaped audit source label
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in DamienHarper auditor-bundle before 5.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in audit viewers. The audit summary macro in src/Resources/views/Audit/helpers/helper.html.twig passes source_label into a translation rendered as raw output without escaping. A low-privileged user must create and delete an audited entity containing a script in its label, and another user must view the resulting audit entry in a browser.
