CVE-2024-45580

Local memory corruption via repeated IOCTL use-after-free

Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP Service allows local users to corrupt memory through repeated remote-invocation IOCTL calls. The DSP remote-invocation path mishandles object lifetime across multiple userspace IOCTL requests and accesses memory after the object is freed. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation can compromise data confidentiality and integrity or interrupt the affected device.
