CVE-2024-45576

Local memory corruption via unchecked OPE array index

Published May 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon OPE modules allows local users to corrupt memory via crafted command buffers. The camera driver fails to validate an array index while the OPE module processes command-buffer data, causing an invalid memory access. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and no user interaction; the public record does not specify whether code execution or privilege escalation results.
