CVE-2024-45575

Camera-kernel memory corruption via device-count overflow

Published May 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Integer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera-kernel code allows local users to corrupt memory by attaching excessive devices through userspace. The driver performs overflowing arithmetic on the device count when too many devices are attached, leaving camera-kernel memory corrupted. Low-privilege local access to an affected device is required; successful exploitation can compromise data and interrupt the device.
