Memory corruption via invalid I/O port count
Published May 6, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025
Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera drivers allows local users to read memory, alter data, or interrupt service. During I/O configuration processing, the driver derives a pointer offset from an invalid I/O port count without keeping the offset in range. A local user with low privileges must reach the camera-driver configuration path; the public record does not identify the affected function.
