Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera-kernel driver allows local users with high privileges to corrupt memory during command handling. The driver performs an improper bounds check while processing a command and reads beyond the intended buffer; Qualcomm has not disclosed the command format, code locus, or precise trigger. Reaching the flaw requires local high privileges and no user interaction, and successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability within the affected component.
