CVE-2024-45561

Memory disclosure via latency-setting IOCTL buffer over-read

Published Feb 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users to expose memory through a latency-setting IOCTL. Windows WLAN Host mishandles memory while processing the user-space request, but Qualcomm has not disclosed the exact buffer operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability without user interaction.
