Memory corruption via unchecked FIPS IOCTL buffer copy

Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN Windows Host firmware allows local users to corrupt memory via a FIPS verification IOCTL. The WLAN Windows Host copies data supplied to the non-extension FIPS encryption and decryption verification IOCTL without checking it against the destination buffer size. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation can expose or alter protected data or crash the affected device.
