CVE-2024-45544

Memory corruption via route-entry IOCTL use-after-free

Published Apr 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2025

Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon Data Network Stack & Connectivity allows local users to corrupt memory through a route-entry IOCTL. The component mishandles object lifetime while processing an IOCTL that adds a hardware route entry, accessing memory after it has been freed. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access; published impacts include unauthorized data modification, limited data exposure, and a service interruption.
