CVE-2024-45523Network attack vector

Service interruption via failed SOAP logins

Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 20, 2024

Resource exhaustion in Bravura Security Fabric allows remote attackers to interrupt service through repeated failed SOAP API logins. The SOAP API login path fails to release resources after unsuccessful authentication, so repeated requests progressively consume them. No credentials or user interaction are required, and sustained requests can exhaust server resources and disrupt availability.
