Code execution via WRL parser out-of-bounds read
Published Oct 8, 2024 · Updated Dec 10, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Teamcenter Visualization and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation allows attackers to execute code via a crafted WRL file. The WRL parser reads past the end of an allocated structure when it processes malformed file data. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and successful execution runs with the current process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
