Information disclosure via incorrect RFCOMM function argument
Published Sep 12, 2025 · Updated Sep 12, 2025
Information disclosure in OpenSynergy BlueSDK through 6.x allows physically proximate attackers to read sensitive data via crafted RFCOMM traffic. The RFCOMM implementation passes an incorrect variable as a function argument while processing attacker-controlled input; public sources do not identify the variable or callee. On tested devices, Bluetooth pairing was required, while pre-pairing reachability depends on the integrator-selected profile security level or Just Works mode.
