Sandbox bypass via reused unsandboxed template
Published Sep 9, 2024 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Sandbox bypass in Twig before 1.44.8, 2.16.1, or 3.14.0 allows remote authenticated users to run prohibited template operations. CoreExtension::include renders a previously cached, non-sandboxed named template without calling checkSecurity at runtime. The bypass requires global sandboxing to be disabled, a sandboxed include by template name, and prior loading of that template outside the sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
