Published Sep 9, 2024 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
Stored XSS in Pixel & Tonic Craft CMS 5.0.0 through 5.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in control-panel sessions. Element::getChipLabelHtml returned user-controlled category, entry, username, and full-name labels without HTML encoding. A low-privileged user must store a crafted label and another control-panel user must view an affected list or breadcrumb, enabling control-panel tampering.
