Service interruption via undisclosed out-of-bounds write
Published Oct 8, 2024 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in OpenHarmony 4.0.0 through 4.1.0 allows local users with low privileges to interrupt service. The affected LiteOS-A kernel locus and the operation that writes beyond its destination buffer have not been publicly disclosed. Local low-privileged access is required, and published scoring limits the demonstrated consequence to availability loss without confidentiality or integrity impact.
