CVE-2024-45370

Authentication bypass via mutable passwordActive flag

Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025

Authentication bypass in Socomec Easy Config System 2.6.1.0 allows local users to access protected device configuration. The login flow trusts the passwordActive value in a writable local SQLite profile record and skips password verification when that value is set to 0. System access sufficient to modify the database permits selection of any stored profile, including privileged profiles, and access to connected-device configuration items.
