Unauthenticated login via incomplete authentication process
Published Oct 3, 2024 · Updated Oct 4, 2024
Weak authentication in Optigo Networks ONS-S8 Spectra Aggregation Switch 1.3.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to log in without a password. The embedded web server uses an incomplete authentication process, but public advisories do not identify the affected request, field, or validation error. Network access to the management interface is required; successful exploitation grants an authenticated session with confidentiality and integrity impact, while availability is unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
