CVE-2024-45323Network attack vector

Cross-tenant log disclosure via missing RBAC scope flag

Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Sep 10, 2024

Improper access control in FortiEDR Manager 6.2.0 through 6.2.1 and 6.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to read cross-tenant logs. The REST system-log permission in rbac-config.json lacks the isCrossSystem scope flag, allowing organization-bound API access to backend logs. Exploitation requires a shared environment and an administrator profile with REST API rights restricted to one organization; the consequence is disclosure of other organizations' log data.
