NTLM credential disclosure via crafted escape sequences

Improper input validation in Mintty 2.3.6 through 3.7.4 allows remote attackers to disclose NTLM credentials via crafted terminal output. Mintty's guardpath passes attacker-controlled UNC paths through path_posix_to_win_w to path_conv::check, whose symlink probing initiates an SMB connection. The target must view a malicious page or open a malicious file that prints the sequence; the resulting SMB authentication exposes the current user's NetNTLMv2 response for relay or cracking.
