Unauthenticated form-data manipulation via unchecked controller actions
Published Aug 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Broken access control in the powermail extension for TYPO3 CMS allows remote attackers to alter or export persisted form data. Several OutputController actions dispatch directly on requested persisted-form records without sufficient authorization checks. Exploitation requires a configured Powermail Frontend plugin; reachable actions can disclose, alter, or delete records available to that plugin.
