CVE-2024-45232Network attack vector

Unauthenticated form-data disclosure via unchecked mail identifier

Published Aug 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024

IDOR in the powermail extension for TYPO3 CMS allows remote attackers to read persisted form submissions via crafted requests. FormController::confirmationAction binds the user-controlled mail parameter to a Mail object and renders it without rejecting an already persisted record. Exploitation requires database persistence for submissions, enabled by default, and exposes stored data from any form using the extension.
