Unauthenticated RCE via exposed NCS HA service
Published Jun 18, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Improper access control in Versa Networks Versa Director 21.2.2, 21.2.3, and 22.1.1 through 22.1.4 allows remote attackers to execute code. Affected releases bind the shared-password Cisco NCS HA service to all interfaces, exposing port 4566 instead of limiting it to HA peers. Network access to an unhardened port 4566 is sufficient for unauthorized administrative actions and full remote code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
