Access-point takeover via improper certificate validation

Published Dec 4, 2024 · Updated Dec 4, 2024

Improper certificate validation in the Ubiquiti UniFi iOS App 10.17.7 and earlier allows attackers to take over standalone access points. Ubiquiti has not disclosed which certificate property or trust decision the app fails to validate during direct access-point management.
