Remote code execution via dynamic integration import
Published Aug 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Code injection in LlamaIndex before 0.10.38 allows remote attackers to execute Python code through crafted integration import names. download_integration interpolates module_import_str and cls_name into a Python import statement and passes the resulting source directly to exec. Remote reachability requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled import values into this function; injected code runs with that application's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
