Browser script execution via unescaped month parameter
Published May 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CampCodes Complete Web-Based School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in a victim's browser. The teacher_salary_details3.php page places the attacker-controlled month parameter into generated HTML without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires an authenticated request and victim interaction, and the resulting script is limited to the data and actions available in the victim's browser context.
