Authenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Sep 5, 2024 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Path traversal in za-internet GmbH C-MOR Video Surveillance 5.2401 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The download-bkf.pml handler accepts the bkf form value as a relative path without restricting traversal, and show-movies.pml similarly trusts cam. Exploitation requires valid web credentials and exposes files readable by the www-data account, including system files outside backup storage.
