CVE-2024-45175Public exploit

Credential disclosure via cleartext configuration files

Published Sep 5, 2024 · Updated Sep 6, 2024

Cleartext credential storage in za-internet C-MOR Video Surveillance 5.2401 allows attackers with filesystem access to read secrets. Camera credentials are written unencrypted to /etc/ip.cam* files, while configured FTP login data is also retained in cleartext. Filesystem access is required; SySS demonstrated remote authenticated retrieval by chaining the separate download-bkf.pml path-traversal flaw.
