Code execution via stale SKP object access
Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Use-after-free in Adobe Dimension 4.0.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when a malicious SKP file is opened. SKP parsing operates on an object without first validating that it still exists, allowing freed memory to be reused during processing. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted file, after which code runs with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=4.0.3
