Stored script execution via unneutralized form input
Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Oct 10, 2024
Stored XSS in affected Adobe Commerce releases allows remote authenticated users with admin privileges to execute scripts in a victim's browser. Vulnerable form fields store administrator-supplied content without neutralizing executable script before rendering it to later visitors. Exploitation requires an administrator to plant the content and a victim to open the containing page, exposing data and actions available in that browser context.
