Unauthenticated privilege escalation via undisclosed authentication logic
Published Sep 13, 2024 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Improper authentication in Adobe ColdFusion 2023.6 and 2021.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to escalate application privileges. Adobe has not published the affected authentication component or the operation that accepts an unauthenticated request. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation grants unauthorized access that can alter application data or behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=2021.12
