Authenticated command execution via IPv6 route parameters
Published May 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
OS command injection in Ruijie Networks RG-UAC 20240428 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via IPv6 route fields. The static_route_edit_ipv6.php handler fails to neutralize shell metacharacters in oldipmask, oldgateway, and olddevname before using those values in an operating-system command. High-privilege management access is required, after which arbitrary commands can read or alter appliance data and interrupt gateway operation.
