CVE-2024-45075Network attack vector

Administrator escalation via unchecked scheduler runAsUser

Published Sep 4, 2024 · Updated Sep 29, 2025

Privilege escalation in IBM webMethods Integration 10.15 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator privileges through scheduler tasks. The scheduler service lets a developer-level account create a user and assign administrator execution context through runAsUser without authenticating that critical operation. Developer-level access is required, and successful exploitation grants administrative control over the Integration Server.
